Dental hygiene academic software can help a university program increase enrollment by offering state-of-the-art tools and technology that prepare students for clinical practice post-graduation. It can also help faculty organize a curriculum geared toward helping students pass their state board examinations.

The dental hygiene career is becoming increasingly popular. According to a report from CareerCast ranking the best jobs available this year, dental hygienist was No. 6 on the list. The website predicts that by the year 2022, the industry will have 33 percent more jobs paying a median annual salary of slightly more than $70,000 per year. This makes dental hygiene extremely attractive for someone making a decision to pursue it as a career and the data alone can also help boost the popularity of any dental hygiene program.

Additionally, the advantages found in using dental school software could be the deciding factor for many administrators and professors to adopt it as a way to help their hygiene programs remain competitive.
A recent report from CullmanSense highlighted the fact that 100 percent of students enrolled in the Wallace State Community College dental hygiene program who who took the state board exams in Alabama passed them successfully.

"We are so proud of the accomplishment of a 100-percent pass rate for the dental hygiene students on their National Board examinations," Lisa German, dean of health sciences at Wallace State, told CullmanSense. "We are blessed to have a top-notch faculty and facility for that program, and we are thrilled with this wonderful outcome for our students."

The report stated the program recently transitioned its clinic services to a computerized system. As a result, students and staff benefited from more flexibility – especially when they weren't able to attend classes in person. Dental hygiene academic software is a useful resource for any program aiming to operate efficiently while helping students develop professionally.
